Recently a woman gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. The baby’s skin was pink, he was crying, he was exactly what his mother had dreamed about. The next day the new family was scheduled to go home but before being discharged the mother told the nurse that the baby was not eating and that he was not as pink as when he was born.
This morning, the Coalition’s Executive Director, Joel White presented at POLITICO’s event “Tech Intersection: The Future of Health Care.” The conversations were primarily focused on the government’s role in encouraging innovation and protecting the future of health IT. Representatives from the provider, research and government communities were all part of the discussion.
