Health IT Now to Host Congressional Briefing on May 31st
Health IT Now – a broad-based coalition of patient groups, provider organizations, employers, and payers supporting health information technology to improve patient outcomes – will hold a Congressional briefing on Wednesday, May 31st at 2:30 PM entitled Health IT in Transition: Regulatory Steps to Lower Burden, Cost, and Increase Quality.
The briefing will discuss opportunities for the new administration and Congress to build upon private market innovation in healthcare. At the briefing, attendees will hear from industry, provider, patient, and employer stakeholders on steps that can be taken to remove regulatory barriers to the full integration of technology in health care in order to lower burden, costs, and increase quality.
